Maker's North Market

Maker's North duo Julieanne Steedman of HeirloomIsland.com and Tracy Baker of TracyBaker.ca - illustrators, mothers, artists & community collaborators have done it again! Planned a fantastic Holiday Market in the beautiful space of the McEwen School of Architecture.

The first snowfall tumbling outside, Sudburians perusing in big coats, toques and mitts, in the bright space, scooping up coffee from Beards Bakery on-site and chatting with local makers & artists.

Said a new hello to our neighbour Chuck&Wood from North Bay (beautiful woodwork) and hello to some familiar creative doers, our market neighbour Emily from Sudbury in a Box (buy local goodies), Mylaine from Sprout Baby who we collaborated with, aside typography by Alysha Becker for her Northern Baby design.

It is always exciting to see what new, blue and bright things are out there! And even more, that there are so many supportive downtown people (and others from the outskirts - like us) coming to see & bring this community to life. We enjoyed everyone we knew and met who stopped in to say hello!
